Here are some of the projects I'm currently working on, as well as some that I've completed in the past.

Franchise Content Management System

Kitchen Solvers needed a centrally controlled content management system for each of its franchise stores. The site includes a control panel for each franchise which allows them update news, promotions, sample projects, and more. The entire site is controlled by an approval system which is managed by corporate headquarters. The front-end also includes a store locater that will allow you to find the nearest franchise based on your zip code. Site design by Harvest Moon Advertising.

Technologies Employed:

  • PHP
  • JQuery
  • MySQL
  • Google Maps

Flash Map

The client wanted to make it easy for web visitors to find geographical locations that were spread out accross the United States. There was a lot of visual and textual data that had to be available to the user (over 700 points - each with it's own set of information). The information for each point was aggregated into a database, and then exported into an XML file for the Flash application to use.

Technologies Employed:

  • Flash - ActionScript 3
  • MS SQL Server
  • XML
  • AFC - Geo Mapping Component

Microsites

I created a series of 9 microsites, each introducing a line of products for the client. Microsites are a great way to promote individual product lines and can be built quickly because they often consist of just a few pages. When visitors request a product sample, a confirmation email is sent to them, which they must reply to in order to qaulify the lead. Each morning an automated email sends an Excel spread sheet to the client so that they can process the previous day's requests.

Technologies Employed:

  • ASP.net
  • JavaScript
  • MS SQL Server
  • CSS
  • Flash

Customized Conversion Tracking

The client wanted to ascertain the ROI of it's ad campaign via Google conversion tracking, but we quickly realized that the data we were getting from it was inadequate. So I built a customized mechanism for tracking conversions which not only gave us more data, but allowed us to track conversions from our email blasts as well as our AdWord campaigns

Technologies Employed:

  • Google Analytics and AdWords
  • MS SQL Server
  • ASP.net
  • MS Excel

Blog Comment Administration

The client wanted to allow visitors to post comments and ratings on it's blog site. I created an application that alerts the client a comment is submitted. The comment must then be approved before it is posted to the live blog site.
